About Us

The 88 Club was founded by Jimmy Kerby, a PGA of Canada Class A Professional who has spent more than twenty-five years at private clubs, resorts and golf destinations across Latin America and Canada. Those years gave him a deep appreciation for the details that make a club feel like itself: the design choices and personal touches members remember long after the round.

Influenced by fashion, architecture, sport and music, he has always been drawn to the balance between form and function.

Every Element Matters

Detail has always been at the heart of Jimmy’s philosophy. From curating golf shops that reflect the identity and standards of a club, to running championships that members still talk about, every element matters. Furnishings, fixtures and displays are not simply functional. They define the character and atmosphere of a club.

The hard part was the price tag. Furnishings built to that standard have always come at a premium most clubs can’t justify. The 88 Club exists to close that gap.

A Family Business

The 88 Club embodies what it means to run a family business. Jimmy is supported by his brother Matt, and by their father Rod, who has been there from the start. The people behind the product answer for it personally, and they think in decades, the way a club does.
